C'mon... seriously... WTF!? That's right ladies and gents, Cyber Sunday has officially become nothing more than another common PPV. Look at all these choices here? Do any of them really seem to be the type that could alter the result of the match in any way possible? No? Thought so.
WWE TITLE MATCH Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy or Vladimir Kozlov or Hardy/Kozlov Oh wow... which EVER could it be!? For anyone with a brain capable of thinking above the age of a preteen, you know the answer. OF COURSE people are going to pick the triple threat option. It's more unique and more exciting. As far as the winner goes, I'm not sure. A lot of people say this would be Jeff Hardy's last shot and it'd be the one he needed. Others are saying that Kozlov will end up winning the title. While I would think it'd be nice for the Russian Mauler to be champ, I think he needs a little more time to get over as a major heel. The winner, Triple H will keep the title. Either by DQ or straight up pinfall. I would LOVE to see no winner occur (ala Austin vs. 'Taker vs. Kane in '98) and have the title go on to be won in a major tournament for Survivor Series, but I doubt that'll happen. Triple H wins.
WORLD TITLE MATCH Chris Jericho vs. Batista (w/ Michaels. Austin, or Orton as special enforcer) Now here's the match where something interesting COULD occur as a result of the vote! I know, right!? Austin is the least likely to be voted. After all, he has that nostalgic feel, but other than that, he adds absolutely nothing into the mix. The only way he'd be voted for is if he shows up and does something to make today's fans go "oooh, I like that guy. Who is he?" Orton has some appeal to him. After all, he's been talking awfully big a lot and wants to get back into the main event picture. He also dislikes Batista, since he's a heel... but has history against Jericho, since the two had that feud not too long ago. Orton could bring something to the table, but it wouldn't be anything big. Michaels, now here's the guy that people need to vote for. Everyone knows the hatred between him and Jericho due to their bitter feud that'd make Scorpion and Sub-Zero blush with envy. Though, with a little work by going back less than a year.. actually, this SAME f**kING YEAR, WWE could remind fans of the big ass feud and hatred that took place between Michaels and Batista. Hell... that's what STARTED the feud with Jericho! Michaels is the perfect choice between the three. It's a perfect triangle of bitterness between them and could add to the storyline. If the people (and by people, I mean the not a very nice persons at WWE's headquarters, since it's rigged) don't choose Michaels, then they're the dumbest people on the planet. Jericho wins the match. Don't know how he'll do it, but he'll win it. That.. or it'll be a No Contest.
WWECW TITLE MATCH Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry, Fit Finlay, or Evan Bourne I don't watch WWECW, so I haven't been paying attention to this "feud" if you can call it that. Mark Henry is probably gonna be out of the picture because he's a heel, duh. Evan Bourne vs. Matt Hardy is definitely the best match choice of the three and I think people are taking a liking to him. Of course people love Finlay, so I guess he could be counted. The winner, no matter what, Matt Hardy's gonna keep the belt tonight.
IC TITLE MATCH Santino Marella vs. Honky Tonk Man, Rowdy Roddy Piper, or Goldust Does anyone really think Santino's going to lose to someone who's past their prime, been out of the spotlight for years, and has no draw today? Not saying that it won't happen, because WWE seems to be awfully fond of pulling off TNA-like moves to show just how idiotic are. A better question would be, does anyone think Santino losing to either of these three be a good idea? Yeah, thought so. Santino wins, no matter who gets voted for. This match would have been better and less predictable if it were "who should Charlie Haas dress like?"
GRUDGE MATCH Undertaker vs. Big Show Last Man Standing Match Knockout Match I-Quit Match Well now we have a match where the result may change the outcome. How nice of them to place this as - so far - the only choice for the website. I-Quit: Taker's the only one who has an established submission with that choke of his, so he wins. Last Man Standing or Knockout Match: Big Show steals the victory. There's no sign of this feud stopping anytime soon.
GRUDGE MATCH Rey Mysterio vs. Kane 2/3 Falls No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere Once again, a lack of interesting choices. A falls count anywhere is most likely to happen because it's the same d**n thing as a no holds barred match, except you can win anywhere in the building. Mysterio wins, no matter what. This will hopefully end the feud.
TAG TEAM MATCH Cryme Tyme vs. Morrison/Miz Simply Priceless vs. Kofi/Punk Regal/Layla vs. Noble/Mickie Wow... this is certainly unique. It's actually a match where the fans can feel like they have a say in the matter. It's still rigged and there's no way we'll know who's in the lead unless WWE places it up on the website. I do have a good idea of who will be voted for though. Punk/Kofi vs. Simply Priceless: The best chances of being voted simply because of how popular all four performers are with marks and smarks alike. Despise Simply Priceless having shown a stronger showing that Kofi/Punk just recently, if this were the outcome, Kofi/Punk will win the match. Cryme Tyme vs. Morrison/Miz: This has the second best chances of being voted for, mainly because of Cryme Tyme's popularity. I loved Morrison and Miz's promo on RAW (Are You 50!?) and Cryme Tyme were made out to look like the second coming of the Bushwackers. Morrison and Miz win this match. Regal/Layla vs. Noble/Mickie: Would love this match to happen, but it probably won't. This one is pretty difficult to say who'd win because neither has really been coming off as strong. Noble may pull in an upset victory or Regal may win the match to continue the feud. I'll go with Regal/Layla as the winners.
There's also going to be a Halloween Costume Contest for the divas, no doubt going back to my previous statement of there needing to be near-naked women on every Cyber Sunday. Expect witches, nurses, schoolgirls, and other unimaginative costumes that we've seen hundreds of times since Cyber Tuesday first started. The vote is for which Divas to take part in the contest and it'll be held during the PPV.
